Unifying the clustering kinetics of lithium polysulfides with the nucleation behavior of Li2S in lithium-sulfur batteries

Abhay Gupta et al.

Summary: The clustering of polysulfides in Li-S batteries leads to various kinetic limitations, including a decrease in polysulfide diffusion coefficient and an impact on the nucleation and growth rates of Li2S. These findings expand our understanding of Li-S materials chemistry and the primary factors affecting electrochemical behavior.
