Highly selective molecularly imprinted gel-based electrochemical sensor with CuS@COOH-MWCNTs signal amplification for simultaneous detection of vanillin and tartrazine in foods

Ultrafine CuS anchored on nitrogen and sulfur Co-doped graphene for selective CO2 electroreduction to formate

Summary: The CuS/N,S-rGO electrode, with nitrogen and sulfur co-doped reduced graphene oxide and small-size CuS nanoparticles, shows high Faradaic efficiency for formate formation during CO2 electroreduction. The synergistic effect between N,S-rGO and CuS, along with the stability-improving graphene, contributes to the excellent performance of the electrode for CO2 reduction reaction. This work provides an efficient electrocatalyst for CO2RR and offers a facile and environmentally friendly method to synthesize small-size Cu-based composites.

The novel synthetic route offers new insights for the scalable production of HPCMs.

Detergent-free micelle-assisted synthesis of carbon-containing hexagonal CuS nanostructures for efficient supercapacitor electrode materials

Summary: This study developed a novel method to control the nanostructure morphology of carbon-containing hexagonal CuS using a single-step solvothermal process. The use of copper II hexafluoroacetylacetonate as the copper source in the presence of two immiscible liquids facilitated the formation of spherical-like shell assembly of hexagonal carbon-containing CuS. This material showed promising potential as an efficient electrode for supercapacitors with enhanced electrochemical properties.

The high specificity and sensitivity, as well as the antifouling and antibacterial properties, show promising feasibility for the design and assembly of biomedical appliances for use in real in vitro and in vivo biological systems.
