Summary: Magnetoelectric (ME) materials and devices have been extensively studied in recent decades, with the existence of multiple ferroic properties playing key roles in next-generation multifunctional devices. Strong ME coupling has been demonstrated in various ME systems, leading to increased attention in device applications such as magnetic field sensors, voltage tunable inductors, and mechanical ME antennas. Novel ME materials and devices offer great opportunities for applications in magnetic field sensing, communication systems, spintronics, and nonvolatile memory.
