Applications of telemetry to fish habitat science and management

The adoption of inferential study approaches and more extensive measurement of environmental conditions would be valuable in improving the application of telemetry to fish habitat science.

Acoustic tracking can be used to monitor and reduce marine pollution, study the effects of human-made structures on biodiversity, and contribute to sustainable fishing and spatial protection targets.

The study also discusses future perspectives and challenges in movement ecology, particularly in relation to climate change and other human-driven issues affecting animal movements.

Reliable eDNA detection and quantification of the European weather loach (Misgurnus fossilis)

An echosounder view on the potential effects of impulsive noise pollution on pelagic fish around windfarms in the North Sea

Monitoring of spatiotemporal occupancy patterns of fish and amphibian species in a lentic aquatic system using environmental DNA
