I wanted to do more of the homework!-Feasibility and acceptability of blending app-based homework with group therapy for social cognition in psychosis

Ottilie Sedgwick et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the feasibility of a brief, blended intervention for individuals with psychosis, finding the procedures were feasible and acceptable. Participants valued the face-to-face component of the intervention and reported benefits to their daily lives, while also experiencing some difficulties with the app. Overall, development of blended interventions may be important to maximize the adherence and reach of psychological interventions.

A systematic review of adherence to group interventions in psychosis: do people attend?

Ottilie Sedgwick et al.

Summary: The review found that group therapy for individuals with psychosis is feasible and has a high level of adherence, with incentives and older age participants linked to improved adherence levels. Despite some studies being at risk of bias, the results support the use of group interventions in this population and call for more high-quality research on their efficacy.

The Heart in the Mind: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of the Association Between Theory of Mind and Cardiac Vagal Tone

Marta Zammuto et al.

Summary: Theory of mind (ToM) is the ability to infer the mental states of others in order to understand their behaviors, and is related to heart rate variability (HRV). A meta-analysis found a significant association between HRV and ToM, with studies using high frequency-HRV assessment at rest and the Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test showing the largest effect sizes.
