Construction of MOF-based superhydrophobic composite coating with excellent abrasion resistance and durability for self-cleaning, corrosion resistance, anti-icing, and loading-increasing research

Design and fabrication of boric acid functionalized hierarchical porous metal-organic frameworks for specific removal of cis-diol-containing compounds from aqueous solution

Summary: Hierarchical porous metal-organic frameworks (HP-MOFs) have been widely studied for their adsorption capabilities, and by etching acid-labile Zn-MOFs and post-modifying them with boric acid functional groups, novel boronate affinity HP-MOFs (BA-HP-UiO-66) were synthesized for specific adsorption of large cis-diol-containing molecules. This specific adsorbent showed significantly better performance in adsorbing teicoplanin compared to microporous Ui0-66-NH2, with a saturated adsorption capacity of up to 526.31 mg.g(-1).

High-performance chemical mechanical polishing slurry for aluminum alloy using hybrid abrasives of zirconium phosphate and alumina

Summary: In this study, an environmentally friendly and highly efficient CMP slurry for aluminum alloy was prepared by using 2D layered zirconium phosphate (ZrP) platelets and alumina (Al2O3) particles as hybrid abrasives. The addition of ZrP platelets improved the stability and dispersion of the Al2O3 abrasives due to hydrogen bonding interactions induced by PEG. By adjusting the concentrations of H2O2 and SDS, an excellent balance between chemical corrosion and mechanical removal was achieved, leading to improved surface roughness and material removal rate for aluminum alloy. The use of binary hybrid abrasives in CMP slurries provides a novel route for efficient planarization of aluminum alloy.
