Injection-seeded Q-switched laser based on a double corner cube retroreflector ring cavity

Summary: An injection-seeded Q-switched Er:YAG laser with a double-corner-cube-retroreflector (DCCR) ring cavity has been demonstrated for the first time, outputting a 1645 nm single-frequency laser pulse with optimum efficiency by tuning the output coupling at different pump powers. This new laser design also utilized a double optical wedge for cavity length adjustment and proved the feasibility of applying a DCCR ring cavity to an injection-seeded Q-switched laser.

Wavefront Compensation With the Micro Corner-Cube Reflector Array in Modulating Retroreflector Free-Space Optical Channels

Summary: This article discusses the use of the micro corner-cube reflector array in free-space optical channels, and investigates its wavefront compensation effect. Through theoretical analysis and experiments, the impact of reflector shape, size, aperture, and turbulence conditions on the beam, as well as limitations caused by phase errors and oblique incidence, are examined. Additionally, wavefront compensation is demonstrated through experiments in a laboratory atmospheric chamber.
