Cross-discipline health professionals agreed on the importance of these priorities and expressed confidence in their ability to support them.

Summary: The relationship between food security and nutrition with mental health has been analytically investigated, but there is a lack of conclusive evidence due to the wide range of literature. This study mapped and analyzed 1945 studies to provide an overview of the research on this topic. The findings suggest that anthropometry and diets, particularly BMI, are most associated with mental health, mainly depression. However, there is limited research on other factors such as infant and young child feeding, birth outcomes, and nutrient biomarkers related to anxiety and stress.
