Stable 10,000-hour operation of 20-W deep ultraviolet laser generation at 266 nm

Yosuke Orii et al.

Summary: This study reports the stable operation of a 266-nm picosecond laser with an average power of 20 W for 10,000 hours. They developed a narrow-linewidth, high-peak-power 1064-nm laser source and achieved frequency conversion to generate a 266-nm laser with an average power of 25.4 W. The durability of the deep ultraviolet laser for industrial applications was confirmed.

Linearly-polarized pulsed Nd-doped fiber MOPA at 905 nm and frequency conversion to deep-UV at 226 nm

Kilian Le Corre et al.

Summary: The study successfully developed a new type of fiber laser capable of generating over 500 mW average power at 226 nm. By utilizing two nonlinear frequency conversion stages, the average power of deep blue and deep ultraviolet light was further increased. Performance limitations and potential improvements were also discussed.

Picosecond high-power 213-nm deep-ultraviolet laser generation using ß-BaB2O4 crystal

Yuxi Chu et al.

Summary: In this study, the researchers successfully achieved an average power output of 1.37 W for a picosecond deep ultraviolet (DUV) laser at 213 nm using beta-BaB2O4 (BBO) crystals. This is the highest output power recorded for a 213 nm picosecond laser system with an all-solid-state setup. The laser system produces over 1.3 µJ 213-nm pulse energy and maintains stable operation for over 100 hours.
