Dual-detection-parameter SPR sensor based on graded index multimode fiber

Summary: In this paper, a dual-detection-parameter SPR sensor for micro angle and micro displacement measurement was fabricated using graded index multimode fiber. The sensing properties of the fiber were studied and verified through mathematical modeling and theoretical simulation. The experimental results showed high wavelength sensitivity and light intensity sensitivity for both the micro angle and micro displacement sensors. The dual-detection-parameter fiber SPR sensor is simple, stable, and not easily damaged, making it suitable for various fields of micro angle and micro displacement measurement.

The simulation and experimental results demonstrate the high sensitivity and effectiveness of this sensor.
