Summary: This study investigated the inhibition of human DNA repair enzyme Tdp1 by different chiral lipophilic nucleoside derivatives. New Tdp1 inhibitors were discovered, with IC50 values ranging from 2.7 to 6.7 μM. It was observed that D-lipophilic nucleoside derivatives exhibited higher inhibition activity compared to their L-analogs, and the configuration of the carbohydrate moiety influenced the mechanism of Tdp1 inhibition.

In vitro genotoxicity assessment of functional ingredients: DHA, rutin and α-tocopherol
