Summary: This study aimed to establish heuristic cadence thresholds for older adults aged 61-85 years at 3, 4, 5, and 6 METs during walking. Results showed that the majority of older adults did not achieve the intensity of >= 6 METs, and therefore, the study did not support setting thresholds corresponding with this intensity level.
