Brain implantable neural electrode is a crucial part of nerve therapy and nerve prosthetic instruments. The focus of current research is on developing miniature and thin brain implantable flexible neuro electrodes with good biocompatibility and adaptability to brain tissues.
Brain implantable neural electrode is a key component of nerve therapy and nerve prosthesis instruments. There is an urgent need to develop implants with good biocompatibility and adaptability to brain tissues, miniature and thin brain implantable flexible neuro electrodes are a current research trend. On the one hand, the melt-spinning technique is easy to prepare, with high yield, low cost, and significantly lower modulus of elasticity. Secondly, adding Cu ions can increase the charge transfer and improve the material's electrical conductivity. Finally, Ti-Cu amorphous thin ribbons have good biocompatibility and broad application prospects in the biological field.
