Water-Based Highly Stretchable PEDOT:PSS/Nonionic WPU Transparent Electrode

Youngno Kim et al.

Summary: By blending highly stretchable nonionic waterborne polyurethane (WPU) with PEDOT:PSS and coating it on a TPU film, the stretchability of PEDOT:PSS-based transparent electrode films can be improved. The introduction of nonionic WPU forms hydrogen bonding and coulombic attractions with PEDOT:PSS, resulting in good electrical properties and mechanical strength of the films. The fabricated stretchable ACEL device maintains its initial luminance even in the stretched state.
