Accelerating progress on early childhood development for children under 5 years with disabilities by 2030

Global and regional prevalence of disabilities among children and adolescents: Analysis of findings from global health databases

Summary: By comparing the prevalence estimates of disabilities among children and adolescents reported by the world's leading organizations for global health statistics, it was found that UNICEF and GBD provided the most comprehensive data. The estimates for severe disabilities in children under five years old were significantly different between the two organizations, while the estimates for children aged 5-19 years and younger than 20 years were similar.
