Sylwia Gorska et al.

Summary: This study employed a meta-analytical approach to explore the factors associated with resilience in community-living older adults. Maintenance of high quality of life as an indicator of resilience during COVID-19 social distancing among community-dwelling older adults in Finland

Kaisa Koivunen et al.

Summary: This study found that better stress-coping ability and absence of loneliness increased the odds of maintaining high quality of life among older individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic, regardless of perceived restrictiveness of social distancing recommendations. Higher walking speed predicted constant high quality of life only among those who perceived restrictions, while living arrangement did not predict constant high quality of life.
