Synthesis, structural, optical, thermal, magnetic and EPR investigations of the new phosphate KCuCr(PO4)2

The structure-Raman spectra relationships of Mg3(PO4)2 polymorphs: A comprehensive experimental and DFT study

Summary: Three Mg-3(PO4)(2) polymorphs were synthesized under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, with their structures and vibrational properties studied using XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and DFT calculations. Experimentally observed different P-O stretching vibrational modes for Mg-3(PO4)(2)-I, II, III were in good agreement with calculated vibrational frequencies. All observed vibrational modes were well assigned based on calculations, providing support for investigating and comparing vibrational properties of the three Mg-3(PO4)(2) polymorphs.
