Near-Infrared II Plasmonic Au@Au-Ag Dot-in-Cubic Nanoframes for In Vivo Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopic Detection and Photoacoustic Imaging

Beibei Shan et al.

Summary: A novel class of Au@Au-Ag dot-in-cubic nanoframes (DCFs) with spectrally tunable plasmonic properties beyond 1400 nm while maintaining a small size has been reported for in vivo photodiagnostics. The synthesis of Au@Au-Ag DCFs is based on facet-selective etching of Ag atoms and co-deposition of Au and Ag atoms, allowing for controllable tailoring of the structure geometry by adjusting silver nitrate and chloroauric acid concentrations. Superior performances of Au@Au-Ag DCFs in in vitro and in vivo NIR-II photoacoustic imaging have been demonstrated, along with remarkable NIR-II surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) activity.

General Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy Method for Actively Capturing Target Molecules in Small Gaps

Meihong Ge et al.

Summary: This method utilizes a nanocapillary pumping model to actively capture target molecules in small gaps, achieving high sensitivity detection. It can maintain an efficient and stable signal for 1-2 minutes during dynamic detection, and can also monitor material transformation processes in biological systems.

Real-Time Intraoperative Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy-Guided Thermosurgical Eradication of Residual Microtumors in Orthotopic Breast Cancer

Yu Wen et al.

Summary: The study introduced a three-in-one theranostic nanoprobe for image-guided surgical resection of tumors and intraoperative surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) guided thermosurgical elimination of residual microtumors. In vivo experiments demonstrated complete eradication of microtumors without local recurrence and 100% tumor-free survivability, offering a robust platform for real-time intraoperative eradication of residual microtumors with significant improvement of surgical outcomes.

SERS Approach to Probe the Adsorption Process of Trace Volatile Benzaldehyde on Layered Double Hydroxide Material

Di Xu et al.

Summary: The research focused on the study of the physicochemical process of volatile organic compound adsorption on layered double hydroxide. A composite of Ag nanocubes@hollow Co-Ni LDH was prepared for studying the adsorption process of trace gaseous aldehydes. The composite showed effective adsorptive performance and high SERS sensitivity, making it a potential candidate for SERS probe in detecting gaseous aldehydes with improved sensitivity.
