Structural and optical characterization of trivalent samarium-activated LaAlO3 nanocrystalline materials for solid-state lighting

The resulting nanomaterials exhibited an orthorhombic structure and showed good optical properties, making them suitable for near ultraviolet (NUV) excited white light emitting diode (WLED) applications.
