Electrorheological properties of titanium oxide loaded C3N4 composites

Weijian Sun et al.

Summary: In this study, a TiO2 supported C3N4 rod-like composite was synthesized and used as a dispersed material in a new type of electrorheological fluid. When an electric field was applied to the C3N4/TiO2 based fluid, a strong yield stress and significant switching effect were observed.

Zinc ferrite/polyaniline composite particles: Pigment applicable as electro-active paint

Lenka Munteanu et al.

Summary: Hybrid conductive paint pigments composed of zinc ferrites and polyaniline were analyzed for their potential as electro-active and corrosion-protective paints. The particles were characterized and confirmed to be suitable for paint applications. The ER behavior of the hybrid particles was analyzed and showed promising results, exceeding 105% ER efficiency at 0.01 s-1. The results were further validated through dielectric spectroscopy, indicating the potential application of these particles as a hybrid ER fluid and electro-active paint.

IL-assisted synthesis of defect-rich polyaniline/NH2-MIL-125 nanohybrids with strengthened interfacial contact for ultra-fast photocatalytic degradation of acetaldehyde under high humidity

Syed Jalil Shah et al.

Summary: The novel IL-PANI/NMIL(Ti) nanohybrids exhibit superior photodegradation performance for CH3CHO with abundant defects and enhanced catalytic activity. Smart grafting increases the adsorption rate of CH3CHO and expands the light absorption range. Furthermore, the degradation rate of CH3CHO is further enhanced at higher humidity levels.
