KSNM 60 in General Nuclear Medicine: the Old Dream Comes True

Won Woo Lee et al.

Summary: The Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine (KSNM) has made progress in various medical fields since its establishment in 1961. Numerous papers have been published by KSNM members in the Korean Journal of Nuclear Medicine (KJNM) and other journals. With the advancement of imaging technology and the development of new radiopharmaceuticals, general nuclear medicine has expanded its clinical applications and also focused on treatment. The introduction of single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography holds the promise of achieving the old dream of combining diagnosis and treatment under the same principle of nuclear medicine.
