Design of a Sub-6 GHz Dielectric Resonator Antenna with Novel Temperature-Stabilized (Sm1-xBix)NbO4 (x=0-0.15) Microwave Dielectric Ceramics

Fang-Fang Wu et al.

Summary: This study investigates the optimization of dielectric properties of SmNbO4 ceramics by substituting Bi3+ ions. The experimental results show that Bi3+ doping effectively regulates the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency by adjusting the strains and permittivity. The SB0.125N material exhibits exceptional performance with low loss and stable temperature, making it a potential candidate for sub-6 GHz antennas.

Structure characteristics and microwave dielectric properties of Pr2(Zr1-xTix)3(MoO4)9 solid solution ceramic with a stable temperature coefficient

Huanrong Tian et al.

Summary: In this study, Pr-2(Zr1-xTix)(3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by a solid-state method, and the influence of crystal structure and bond characteristics on microwave dielectric properties was systematically investigated. The results showed that the increase of Ti4+ content led to a reduction in lattice volume and improved microwave dielectric properties. Therefore, optimizing the Ti4+ content and controlling bond characteristics can enhance the microwave dielectric performance of the ceramics.

Summary: This study focuses on the dielectric properties of BaMoO4 ceramic and BaMoO4-CTO composites in the microwave region. The addition of 20% CTO to BaMoO4 resulted in a composite with desirable relative dielectric permittivity and low dielectric loss. These materials can be used as dielectric resonator antennas.

Design of a High-Efficiency and -Gain Antenna Using Novel Low-Loss, Temperature-Stable Li2Ti1-x (Cu1/3Nb2/3)xO3 Microwave Dielectric Ceramics

Huan-Huan Guo et al.

Summary: Microwave dielectric ceramics with excellent properties such as high quality factor, low sintering temperature, small density, and good temperature stability were achieved by incorporating (Cu1/3Nb2/3)(4+) substitution and 3 wt % H3BO3 addition in Li2TiO3. The resulting LTCN0.2 + 3 wt % H3BO3 materials showed promising applications for SG mobile communication devices and low-temperature co-fired ceramic technology. Additionally, they were chemically compatible with silver and exhibited high simulated radiation efficiencies and gains in patch antenna and dielectric resonator antenna designs.

Summary: A series of Sr2TiSi2O8: Eu3+ red phosphors were developed with intense red light emission when excited by NUV LED due to noninversion symmetry coordination of Eu3+ in Sr2TiSi2O8. The emission intensity of Sr2TiSi2O8: Eu3+ is highly sensitive to temperature, making it a potential temperature sensing material.

Polar glass-ceramics for piezocatalytic applications

Gurpreet Singh et al.

Summary: Glass-ceramics containing oriented Sr2TiSi2O8 fresnoite crystallites were explored for piezocatalysis induced dye degradation capability. The samples heat-treated at 1000°C/3 h showed larger crystallites, higher piezoelectricity, and better dye degradation efficiency compared to those treated at 850°C/3 h. The main active species behind the piezocatalytic dye degradation using glass-ceramics was identified as hydroxyl radicals (OH).

Effects of (Mg1/3Sb2/3)4+ substitution on the structure and microwave dielectric properties of Ce2Zr3(MoO4)9 ceramics

Xu Zhou et al.

Summary: Ce-2[Zr1-x(Mg1/3Sb2/3)x](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid-state method, and a single phase was obtained at sintering temperatures ranging from 700 to 850 degrees C. The crystal structure refinement was investigated using Rietveld refinement method, and the dielectric properties of Ce-2[Zr-0.94(Mg1/3Sb2/3)(0.06)](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were found to be excellent. The correlations between chemical bond parameters and microwave dielectric properties were analyzed using P-V-L theory.
