Rational design of honeycomb Ni-Co LDH/graphene composite for remarkable supercapacitor via ultrafast microwave synthesis

Summary: In this study, ternary metal hydroxide nanorods were grown on Ni foam using a facile hydrothermal method for novel electrode applications in pseudocapacitors. Furthermore, when evaluated as a positive electrode in an asymmetric supercapacitor, the core-shelled structure demonstrated outstanding energy density and cycling stability.
