Defining organizational functionality for evaluation of post-disaster community resilience

S. Amin Enderami et al.

Summary: Communities are complex systems defined by various interactions, and this paper focuses on how organizations contribute to community resilience through their functionality. The research uses fault trees and a probabilistic framework to measure organizational functionality failure, highlighting the importance of both physical and non-physical components in a well-functioning organization. A proposed evaluation framework for community resilience is based on organizational functionality.
