Summary: This study aimed to investigate a novel method combining ultrasonic-assisted modified cloud point/solid phase extraction (UA-MCP/SPE) with silver nanoparticles and fast sequential module-flame atomic absorption measurements (FS-FAA) to analyze the levels of Cd2+, Co2+, and Ni2+ in tuna fish samples. Through experimental design, the optimal conditions for extraction were determined, and the method showed good linear range, low detection limits, and satisfactory precision. The developed method has potential applications in heavy metal analysis in biological samples.

Summary: Fe3O4@coPANI-PTH was synthesized as magnetic nanoparticles for the determination of cobalt using MSPE with MIS-FAAS. The method showed good enrichment efficiency, accuracy, and low detection limit for ultra-trace amounts of cobalt in various samples. The adsorption capacity and characteristics of Fe3O4@coPANI-PTH for cobalt were evaluated, and the method accuracy was confirmed by CRM and spiked real sample analyses with relative errors and standard deviations below 6.0%.
