The Australian living guidelines for the clinical care of people with COVID-19: What worked, what didn't and why, a mixed methods process evaluation

Summary: The Australian National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce has successfully published 20 weekly updates to the evidence-based national treatment guidelines for COVID-19 in just over 5 months. The process evaluation identified factors that enabled this achievement, as well as challenges such as workload management, structure and governance, and methodological issues. An impact evaluation is also being conducted to examine awareness, acceptance and use of the guidelines.
