Automatic stomata recognition and measurement based on improved YOLO deep learning model and entropy rate superpixel algorithm

Fan Zhang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a deep learning-based method for automatically identifying, counting, and measuring maize leaf stomata. By improving the YOLO deep learning model and using an entropy rate superpixel algorithm, accurate measurement of stomatal parameters is achieved. Experimental results demonstrate high recognition precision and parameter measurement accuracy of the method.

Climate benchmarks and input parameters representing locations in 68 countries for a stochastic weather generator, CLIGEN

Andrew T. Fullhart et al.

Summary: This dataset includes input parameters for 12,703 locations worldwide to parameterize a stochastic weather generator called CLIGEN. Monthly statistics for daily precipitation, temperature, and solar radiation are provided, with parameters determined from 30-, 20-, and 10-year record lengths. Input parameters related to precipitation were primarily calculated from the NOAA GHCN-Daily network, while others were calculated from various sources including global meteorological and land-surface models.
