Hierarchical porous transition metal oxide nanosheets templated from waste bagasse: General synthesis and Li/Na storage performance

Hechun Wei et al.

Summary: A biomorphic method was developed to synthesize controllable hierarchical porous transition metal oxide nanosheets using waste bagasse as a biotemplate. The porosity and pore size of the nanosheets can be adjusted by changing the precursor solution concentration, leading to different nanostructures. These hierarchical porous nanosheets show excellent electrochemical performance when used as anodes for Li/Na-ion batteries.
