Synthesis of Cs2TeI6 thin film and its NO2 gas-sensing properties under blue-light illumination

Phung Dinh Hoat et al.

Summary: A thin film of Cs2TeI6 perovskite was prepared on a glass substrate via a non-solution process, and its gas-sensing properties, especially the high selectivity and low detection limit for NO2 gas, were studied. The results show the potential application of this sensor for NO2 gas sensing at room temperature.

A DFT study of the electronic structure, optical, and thermoelectric properties of halide perovskite KGeI3-xBrx materials: photovoltaic applications

I. Hamideddine et al.

Summary: This study investigates the electronic structure, optical, and thermoelectric properties of Ge-based halide perovskite materials using density functional theory (DFT). The materials are found to be stable in the cubic phase with a bandgap value ranging from 0.611 to 1.126 eV, making them suitable for solar cell applications. This is the first theoretical prediction of the optical properties for these compounds, awaiting experimental confirmation.

Synthesis of Cs2SnI6 perovskite thin film by low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method

Phung Dinh Hoat et al.

Summary: A low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method was proposed to synthesize continuous Cs2SnI6 thin films, with varied deposition parameters and annealing treatment to enhance stability and properties. The Cs2SnI6 film remained stable in ambient air for 30 days after annealing in SnI4, exhibiting n-type semiconducting behavior with improved optical and electrical characteristics.
