Interval-Observer-Based Fault Detection and Isolation Design for T-S Fuzzy System Based on Zonotope Analysis

Fanglai Zhu et al.

Summary: This article deals with fault detection and isolation problems for uncertain discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems. By combining the H-infinity observer and the zonotope method, a robust observer is designed and a fault detection and isolation scheme is proposed. Numerical simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Event-Triggered Impulsive Control for Nonlinear Stochastic Systems

Zenghui Hu et al.

Summary: This study focuses on the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems using an event-triggered impulsive control scheme. Continuous and periodic event-triggered mechanisms are developed, with sufficient conditions given for system stability. Additionally, LMI-based conditions for exponential stability in the mean square are established for linear stochastic systems.

Exponential stability and synchronization of Memristor-based fractional-order fuzzy cellular neural networks with multiple delays

Xueqi Yao et al.

Summary: This study addresses the stability and synchronization problems for the memristor-based fractional-order fuzzy cellular neural networks with multiple delays. Three exponential stability criteria are derived using Laplace transform method, fractional-order calculus approach, and the method of complex function. Compared with existing results, novel exponentially stable and synchronization conditions have been proposed. The obtained results are applicable to both fractional-order systems and integer-order systems, and their validity and merits are illustrated through examples.

Social structure formation in a network of agents playing a hybrid of ultimatum and dictator games

Jan E. Snellman et al.

Summary: This study explores how agents interact with each other in a social network through a hybrid of dictator and ultimatum games, and the impact of these interactions on the formation of social structures and networks. The researchers found that as the living cost parameter increases, agent social networks tend to evolve from simple structures to more complex networks, and it is more difficult to form complex social structures when the dictator game strategy dominates in social transactions among agents.

Adaptive finite-time quantized synchronization of complex dynamical networks with quantized time-varying delayed couplings

Juan-Juan He et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the finite-time synchronization problem of complex dynamical networks with quantized time-varying delayed couplings and adaptive coupling strengths, and develops a novel finite-time adaptive quantized control algorithm. Sufficient conditions for finite-time synchronization are derived using convex combination technique and nonsmooth analysis, and numerical simulations verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

Global Exponential Stability and Synchronization for Novel Complex-Valued Neural Networks With Proportional Delays and Inhibitory Factors

Li Li et al.

Summary: This article proposes a complex-valued neural network model with proportional delays and inhibitory factors, and derives criteria for ensuring its global exponential stability using the Halanay inequality technique and matrix measure method. By designing a feedback controller and providing limitation conditions, global exponential synchronization of two neural network models is achieved successfully.

Saturated impulsive control for synchronization of coupled delayed neural networks

Shuchen Wu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the synchronization problem for coupled neural networks with impulsive control, fully considering the saturation structure of impulse action. By introducing a new constraint of set inclusion and the corresponding sector condition, a sufficient condition for exponential synchronization is obtained by replacing saturation nonlinearity. Synchronization of coupled delayed neural networks is achieved in the framework of saturated impulses, and an optimization problem is solved to propose the estimating domain of attraction as large as possible.

Weiqin Huang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the robust stability of fractional-order complex-valued projective neural networks (FOCVPNNs) with neutral-type delays and uncertain parameters, establishing criteria to ensure the existence, uniqueness, and global robust stability of the equilibrium point. Finally, the validity of the main results is verified through simulations with three examples.
