From process effluents to intestinal health promotion: Developing biopolymer-whey liposomes loaded with gingerol to heal intestinal wounds and neutralize oxidative stress

Maryam Rezvani et al.

Summary: This study developed whey vesicles loaded with gingerol by using an eco-friendly method, which showed promising effects in protecting intestinal cells and promoting wound healing. Whey vesicles prepared with tragacanth gum demonstrated the highest capability in intestinal protection, highlighting their potential in nanomedicine applications for treating intestinal damages.
