Proficiency of Extracellular Vesicles From hiPSC-Derived Neural Stem Cells in Modulating Proinflammatory Human Microglia: Role of Pentraxin-3 and miRNA-21-5p

Raghavendra Upadhya et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the ability of EVs derived from hiPSC-induced neural stem cells to modulate activated human microglia and reduce inflammation. The presence of the protein PTX3 and miRNA miR-21-5p in hNSC-EVs is essential for their anti-inflammatory effects. These findings suggest the potential of hNSC-EVs as a therapeutic strategy for neuroinflammatory diseases.

Ultrashort Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid-Based Injectable Composite Hydrogels for Sustained Drug Release and Chronic Diabetic Wound Healing

Ling Wang et al.

Summary: The study successfully developed composite hydrogels with excellent mechanical properties and self-healing capabilities by incorporating hyaluronic acid with diphenylalanine conjugated with different aromatic moieties. The sustained release of curcumin in the composite hydrogel contributed to promoting chronic diabetic wound healing.

Hypoxia adipose stem cell-derived exosomes promote high-quality healing of diabetic wound involves activation of PI3K/Akt pathways

Jie Wang et al.

Summary: Research indicates that hypoxic adipose stem cells exosomes (HypADSCs-exo) can promote diabetic wound healing by regulating miRNAs and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, inhibiting inflammatory response.
