Numerical study of heat transfer in hybrid nanofluid flow over permeable nonlinear stretching curved surface with thermal slip

Nadeem Abbas et al.

Summary: This study examines the flow of a hybrid nanofluid past a permeable curved surface with nonlinear stretching, considering two types of particles and a porous medium. Mathematical models based on the Navier-Stokes equations are developed and transformed into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The effects of physical parameters on velocity and temperature profiles are analyzed using numerical methods. The study compares the heat transfer scale of the hybrid nanofluid to that of a simple nanofluid, considering suction and injection cases.

Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model for nanofluid flow over a curved stretching sheet: An application of Stefan blowing

Rangaswamy Naveen Kumar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the thermophoresis and Brownian motion effects in nanofluid flow over a curved stretching sheet (CSS), and considers the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux and Stefan blowing (SB) conditions for studying heat and mass transport characteristics. The coupled partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations using suitable similarity variables and numerically solved using the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method. The effects of the involved parameters on the flow, mass, and heat fields are discussed using suitable graphs.

Nur Syahirah Wahid et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid induced by an exponentially permeable stretching/shrinking curved surface. It is found that the boundary layer separation is deferred as copper volume fraction and curvature parameters increase, and the presence of hybrid nanofluid enhances velocity and temperature profiles.

Flow of Eyring-Powell liquid due to oscillatory stretchable curved sheet with modified Fourier and Fick's model

M. Imran et al.

Summary: This study investigates the mass and heat transport mechanism of Eyring-Powell liquid in the time-dependent magnetohydrodynamic flow across an oscillatory stretchable curved sheet using a modified version of Fourier and Fick's model known as the Cattaneo-Christov double diffusive theory. The obtained flow equations are transformed into nonlinear PDEs and solved using the homotopy analysis method. The results show that the amplitude of the pressure distribution increases for high values of the Eyring-Powell parameter.

Summary: This paper investigates the transfer of heat phenomenon in a hydromagnetic time-dependent flow of micropolar fluid across an oscillating stretchable curved surface using the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model. The flow equations are derived as nonlinear partial differential equations and solved analytically. The accuracy of the results is examined using the Keller box method and shown to be in strong agreement. The influences of various physical characteristics are depicted in detail with graphs and tables, and a tabular comparison with published data in the literature shows good agreement.

Radiative CNT-based hybrid magneto-nanoliquid flow over an extending curved surface with slippage and convective heating

Asgar Ali et al.

Summary: This study focuses on the hydrothermal behavior of a mixed convective flow of a hybrid nanoliquid over a convectively heated curved surface under a uniform transverse magnetic field. The incorporation of first- and second-order velocity slip conditions and nonlinear radiative heat flux leads to changes in the velocity profile and local surface properties, particularly affected by the presence of carbon nanotubes and magnetite nanoparticles in the nanoliquid. The numerical analysis demonstrates the impact of physical and geometrical parameters on the dimensionless physical quantities of interest and highlights the different effects of single-walled carbon nanotubes and multi-walled carbon nanotubes in the suspension.
