Catalytic performance over Mn-Ce catalysts for NH3-SCR of NO at low temperature: Different zeolite supports

Lin Chen et al.

Summary: The Mn-Ce/zeolite catalysts were synthesized to study their NH3-SCR performance at low temperatures. The Mn-Ce/X catalyst showed the highest NO conversion and SO2 resistance, while Mn-Ce/ZSM-5 and Mn-Ce/Beta catalysts had high NO conversion at higher temperatures. Furthermore, Mn-Ce/X catalyst had better acid sites and stability, promoting NH3-SCR activity.

Preferred enhancement of fast-SCR by Mn/CeSiOx catalyst: Study on Ce/Si promotion and shape dependence

Wei-Jing Li et al.

Summary: The 0.3Mn/Ce8Si2Ox-R catalyst with a Ce/Si ratio of 8/2 showed superior performance at low temperatures, exhibiting high NOx conversion by increasing surface acidity and inhibiting the side reaction of NH3, leading to the highest NOx conversion and Fast-SCR process. Additionally, the catalyst displayed higher poison resistance to HCl compared to SO2 during catalytic activity suppression.

Comparative characterization of iridium loading on catalyst assessment under different conditions

Zahra Amirsardari et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that under atmospheric pressure, the catalyst's performance is better when using 30wt% of iridium nanoparticles with a chelating agent. The increase in reaction rate at higher Ir loading (30wt%) is attributed to a good dispersion of active phases rather than surface agglomeration. Additionally, at high pressure, Ir catalysts show the same stability against crushing and activity with a characteristic velocity of approximately 1300 m/s.
