Summary: This study analyzed data from 33 patients who underwent TPVI with Edwards Sapien valves in conduits <= 16 mm between 2010 and 2020. The results showed successful outcomes with dilation above 150%, and toleration of valve/conduit diameter ratios up to 2.4. Although there were cases of conduit rupture, they were confined without the need for further intervention or surgery.

Multicenter Study of Endocarditis After Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement

Summary: This study evaluated risk factors for and outcomes of endocarditis after transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement, finding that younger age, a previous history of endocarditis, and a higher residual gradient are risk factors. The incidence of endocarditis remained constant over time, and efforts to mitigate risk are crucial for improving patient management.
