Biobased composites from jojoba oil and fibers from alfa stems: Elaboration and characterization

Chakib Mokhtari et al.

Summary: Biocomposite materials were prepared by reinforcing two jojoba oil-based aliphatic or aromatic polyurethanes with cellulose fibers extracted from alfa stems. Analysis by FTIR and SEM showed good compatibility between fibers and matrices, while thermal and mechanical properties were significantly improved.
