Thermal and mass species transportation in tri-hybridized Sisko martial with heat source over vertical heated cylinder

Umar Nazir et al.

Summary: Ternary hybrid nano-structures have shown great potential in enhancing thermal energy utilization in automobiles and fuel dynamics. The study reveals that an increase in temperature leads to higher values of Eckert number, Dufour parameter, and heat generation number, while mass diffusion rate and heat transfer rate decrease.

Simulation of the dynamics of colloidal mixture of water with various nanoparticles at different levels of partial slip: Ternary-hybrid nanofluid

Wenhao Cao et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow characteristics of ternary-hybrid nanofluids and their influence under temperature difference, nonlinear thermal radiation, and partial slip. The results show that partial slip reduces the friction at the wall, with the lowest decreasing rate observed in free convection. When induced by mixed convection, the increased motion of the three types of nanoparticles leads to optimal mass and heat transfer rates.

FEM solution to quadratic convective and radiative flow of Ag-MgO/H2O hybrid nanofluid over a rotating cone with Hall current: Optimization using Response Surface Methodology

Puneet Rana et al.

Summary: This study investigates the nonlinear buoyancy-induced flow of water conveying hybrid nanoparticles around a revolving cone surface subjected to quadratic radiative heat transfer. The effects of Hall current and thermal jump condition are taken into account. The problem is modeled using the quadratic Boussinesq approximation and quadratic Rosseland thermal radiation. The governing equations are solved using the Finite element method, and the effects of parameters on the shear stress and heat transport are analyzed. The optimal levels of magnetic field, radiation, and thermal slip are determined using the Response Surface Method.

Mixed convective nanofluid flow over a non linearly stretched Riga plate

Hanumesh Vaidya et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the heat and mass transfer characteristics of mixed convective flow of an electrically conducting nanofluid past a slender plate, considering viscous dissipation and chemical reaction. The analysis involves zero nanoparticle mass flux, convective boundary conditions, and thermophoretic and Brownian aspects for nanoliquid using Buongiorno's relations. The study uses similarity quantities to obtain dimensionless flow field equations and solves them analytically through the optimal homotopy analysis method (OHAM). The results show that higher values of the modified Hartmann number increase the velocity profile while suppressing the temperature profile, and the accuracy of contemporary numerical simulations validates the novelty of the investigation.

Heat transfer of TiO2- EG nanoliquid with active and passive control of nanoparticles subject to nonlinear Boussinesq approximation

Puneet Rana et al.

Summary: This study investigated the buoyancy-driven two-dimensional flow of a nanoliquid past a vertical plate subject to quadratic Rosseland thermal radiation and quadratic thermal convection. The analysis considered the consequences of nanoparticle aggregation, modified Maxwell-Bruggeman and Krieger-Dougherty models for thermal conductivity and viscosity, active and passive control of nanoparticles, and the effects of quadratic Boussinesq approximation. Numerical simulations showed that nanoparticle aggregation and quadratic thermal radiation enhanced the temperature field, while the quadratic Boussinesq approximation accelerated the heat transport rate at the plate.
