Carbazole-based bis-imidazole ligand-involved synthesis of inorganic-organic hybrid polyoxometalates as electrochemical sensors for detecting bromate and efficient catalysts for selective oxidation of thioether

Summary: In this study, three inorganic-organic hybrid polyoxometalates were successfully synthesized using a bis-imidazole ligand as a connector. Structural analysis showed that the formation of structures was influenced by different polyoxoanions and metal ions. These materials showed promising application potential as electrode materials for sensing bromate and as catalysts for the oxidation of thioethers.
