Development and validation of a dynamic mass-balance prediction model for indoor particle concentrations in an office room

Summary: The study developed a dynamic mass balance model to predict indoor particle concentrations, finding that the operation of an air purifier effectively reduced indoor PM2.5 concentrations but had little impact on PM2.5-10 concentrations. Proposed guidelines recommended starting the air purifier when indoor PM2.5 concentrations were close to the standard without operation, and stopping it when concentrations fell below the standard without operation.
