Qijun Deng et al.

Summary: A high-power inductive power transfer system with overlapped transmitters driven by a multi-inverter topology is proposed, utilizing a phase-shifted control strategy at inverter-level. The dynamic model based on virtual resonant loop and PI controller were developed to reduce the scale and order of the system model. Experimental results showed that the system had good performance with setting times within 13 ms under load resistance and reference disturbances, validating the model and controller effectiveness.

Extension of ZVS Region of Series-Series WPT Systems by an Auxiliary Variable Inductor for Improving Efficiency

Yong Li et al.

Summary: In order to maintain a stable output voltage in wireless power transfer (WPT) systems without the need for additional dc/dc converters, phase-shift (PS) control is typically used. The challenge lies in ensuring zero-voltage switching (ZVS) operation, particularly under light-load conditions. This study introduces an auxiliary variable inductor to achieve wide ZVS operation range of all switching devices, leading to higher overall efficiency in a wider load range compared to conventional methods.
