Allocation of Excitation Signals for Generic Identifiability of Linear Dynamic Networks

Xiaodong Cheng et al.

Summary: A recent research direction focuses on identifying dynamic networks in data-driven modeling. By introducing a graph structure called directed pseudotree, this article addresses the problem of generic identifiability of network models. An algorithmic procedure is proposed to decompose the extended graph into a minimal number of disjoint pseudotrees and determine the appropriate locations for excitation signals, achieving the generic identifiability of the network.

Generic identifiability of subnetworks in a linear dynamic network: The full measurement case

Shengling Shi et al.

Summary: This article investigates the identifiability conditions for single or multiple modules in a dynamic network and how to recover these modules by measuring the statistical properties of the signals. The conditions for identifying multiple modules are developed, and a method for allocating external excitation signals to achieve identifiability of specific subnetworks is introduced.

A Local Direct Method for Module Identification in Dynamic Networks With Correlated Noise

Karthik Raghavan Ramaswamy et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the identification of local modules in dynamic networks, proposing an extension to embed the local module in a MIMO identification setup when dealing with correlated process noises on node signals. Algorithms are presented to select appropriate node signals as inputs and outputs based on the network topology and disturbance correlation structure.
