Multi-hazard spatial modeling via ensembles of machine learning and meta-heuristic techniques

Summary: This study developed a multi-hazard map for identifying at-risk areas in Kermanshah province, Iran by integrating SWARA-ANFIS-PSO and SWARA-ANFIS-GWO models. The study incorporated various factors to generate susceptibility maps for earthquakes, floods, and landslides. The results showed that the ensemble model, SWARA-ANFIS-PSO, performed the best in generating flood susceptibility maps. The multi-hazard map obtained can serve as a practical guide for sustainable development.
