Three-dimensional modelling and optimization of an industrial dual fluidized bed biomass gasification decoupling combustion reactor

Panxing Kang et al.

Summary: The dual fluidized bed biomass gasification decoupling combustion technology shows promise in achieving highly efficient combustion for high-water-containing biomass fuel and lower NOx emission. By optimizing the secondary air operating parameters, the performance of the biomass gasification combustion reactor can be enhanced. Adjusting the total secondary air ratio, upper secondary air ratio, and upper secondary air height can affect the gas-phase entrainment effects and overall biomass combustion efficiency.
