Intensification of ozone generation and degradation of azo dye in non-thermal hybrid corona-DBD plasma micro-reactor

Ainy Hafeez et al.

Summary: The efficiency of a novel corona-dielectric barrier discharge hybrid non-thermal plasma micro-reactor for ozone generation and pollutant degradation was investigated. By packing the micro-reactor with dielectric glass beads, the ozone generation efficiency was significantly increased compared to an empty channel reactor. Under optimized conditions, the packed-bed plasma reactor outperformed the empty channel reactor by 24% in ozone generation efficiency.

Derivation and Verification of the Relationship between Ablation Index and Baseline Impedance

Zheng Cai et al.

Summary: The study investigated the quantitative adjustment of ablation index under different baseline impedance to achieve similar lesion dimensions. Results showed that higher baseline impedance was associated with smaller lesion dimensions at similar ablation indices. Modulating baseline impedance and power can result in roughly the same lesion dimensions.
