Further results on asymptotic and finite-time stability analysis of fractional-order time-delayed genetic regulatory networks

A. Pratap et al.

Summary: This research investigates the fractional-order genetic regulatory networks (FOGRNs) with feedback regulation delays. The existence and uniqueness of the considered systems are established using the Banach fixed point theorem. Sufficient criteria are obtained based on the Lyapunov method and fractional-order Razumikhin theorem to ensure global asymptotic stability for addressing fractional-order systems. A suitable controller with discontinuous terms is designed to guarantee asymptotic convergence to zero in a finite time and accurately estimate the upper bound of the settling time for finite-time stability. Numerical examples are provided to verify the correctness of the obtained stability results.

Non-fractional and fractional mathematical analysis and simulations for Q fever

Joshua Kiddy K. Asamoah et al.

Summary: The purpose of this study is to analyze the transmission dynamics of Q fever in livestock and ticks and to propose management practices to minimize the spread of the disease. The study develops a mathematical model to represent the spread of the disease and investigates various factors such as environmental transmission, shedding rate, and bacterial decay rate. The study also considers the memory aspect of ticks on their host by introducing fractional differential operators. The findings highlight the importance of environmental transmission and shed light on the susceptibilities and infections associated with different fractional operators.

Hashem Najafi et al.

Summary: This paper studies the dynamic behaviors of CD4(+) T-cells under the effect of HIV-1 infection using a new mathematical model based on a generalized fractal-fractional structure. The existence theory and uniqueness criterion of the system are derived analytically, and two numerical algorithms for approximating the solutions are obtained. Simulation results show stability and lack of visible order in the early days of the disease dynamics when using the Newton polynomial.

Role of fractal-fractional derivative on ferromagnetic fluid via fractal Laplace transform: A first problem via fractal-fractional differential operator

Kashif Ali Abro

Summary: The deformity of the magnetic field reveals different patterns of accumulation of particles in ferrofluid, leading to the existence of a homogeneous ferromagnetic liquid. A mathematical model incorporating fractal-fractional derivatives and Laplace transforms is developed to study the behavior of ferrofluid within porous media. The study demonstrates novel behaviors of velocity fields and highlights the lack of previous research on fractal-fractional derivatives in ferrofluid.

A. George Maria Selvam et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new fractional-order SEIHR model for COVID-19, which includes a discrete version obtained through a process of digitization and calculations of the basic reproductive number and equilibrium points. The study establishes sufficient conditions for investigating all possible equilibria of the model in terms of local stability and supports these conditions with time series, phase portraits, and bifurcation diagrams. Finally, numerical simulations are used to demonstrate the theoretical findings.

On a new four-dimensional model of memristor-based chaotic circuit in the context of nonsingular Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo operators

Chernet Tuge Deressa et al.

Summary: The study investigates a four-dimensional memristor system with a fractional non-singular operator, utilizing a newly developed numerical scheme to obtain phase portraits for different fractional derivative orders and system parameter values. The existence-uniqueness of the fractional representation is verified using the Banach fixed point theorem, and the local stability of the fractional model is analyzed using the Matignon criteria. The system is shown to exhibit chaotic behavior and is highly sensitive to parameter variations and small initial condition changes.
