The sensitivity of the system was greatly enhanced by utilizing enzyme catalysis for signal amplification and electrodeposition of Au nanoparticles on the cathode surface. This biosensor showed high sensitivity and specificity, with a detection limit as low as 3.7 aM, and successfully realized ALP detection in single cells.

Immunoassays are well-established for mycotoxins due to their speed, sensitivity, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness. The use of mimotopes, such as mimic peptides and anti-idiotypic antibodies, can provide alternative methods for rapid analysis of mycotoxins without the requirement of toxic mycotoxins.
