Summary: The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a self-management support tool delivered through a smartphone app as an adjunct to usual care for adults with lower back pain-related disability. Results showed that participants who used the selfBACK system had reduced pain-related disability at 3 months, but the improvement may be too small to be clinically significant.
