The article presents the structure and synthesis method of a hybrid catalytic material based on multiwalled carbon nanotubes. The material exhibits excellent catalytic activity in the Heck reaction.
The Front Cover illustrates the structure of the hybrid catalytic material based on multiwalled carbon nanotubes, which were easily functionalized by means of their reaction with catechol diazonium salt followed by the immobilization of Pd(II) ions and the final reduction with the formation of Pd nanoparticles.
