Association between urinary bisphenol analogue concentrations and lung cancer in adults: A case-control study

Bisphenol A and its analogues in paired urine and house dust from South China and implications for children's exposure

The internal exposure of bisphenol analogues in South China adults and the associated health risks

Summary: This study investigated nine bisphenol analogues in urine samples of 1168 South China adults, with Bisphenol A and Bisphenol F showing the highest detection frequencies. Bisphenol A was the most dominant analogue, significantly correlated with age, marital status, drinking status, and history of hyperlipidemia. The estimated daily intake of various bisphenol analogues was much lower than the temporary tolerable reference dose recommended by the European Food Safety Authority, indicating no significant health risks to South China adults.

Determination and occurrence of bisphenol A and thirteen structural analogs in soil

The method was applied to 29 soil samples from 21 provinces in China, revealing 12 bisphenols with notably high concentrations, particularly bisphenol P which was at least ten times higher than in other environmental matrices. The results indicate hot spots of bisphenol pollution in soil, calling for further investigations.

Urinary bisphenol A and its alternatives among pregnant women: Predictors and risk assessment

Summary: This study investigated predictors of exposure to BPA and its alternatives among pregnant women in China and found differences in exposure levels based on region and dietary habits. Intake of fried food and pickled food was associated with higher concentrations of the alternatives. Risk assessment showed that pregnant women's exposure to BPA and its alternatives was below the tolerable daily intake levels.
