Association between short-term exposure to air pollution and peptic ulcer bleeding: A case-crossover study in China

Summary: This study conducted a case-crossover study on the association between air pollution and peptic ulcer bleeding in Zhejiang, China, and found significant associations between NO2, CO, and PM2.5 and the risk of peptic ulcer bleeding, with the strongest effect observed at lag(06). The results support the hypothesis that short-term air pollution exposure has adverse health effects on the digestive system.
